CONTACT - Exploration Center Tuolumne River Exploration Center (TREC) Hours: The Tuolumne River Exploration Center provides education and involvement opportunities for residents and tourists alike. Throughout the year, TREC hosts speakers, slide shows and hikes. TREC offers educational displays about the Clavey and Tuolumne Rivers and is a hub for Trust activities in the Sierra Nevada (educational presentations, hands-on conservation work, monitoring, and field trips). In addition to the TREC displays, you can enjoy coffee, books, river gear and more in our shared space with La Casa Loma River Store. TREC is located 7 miles east of Groveland, on Highway
120, on the way to Yosemite National Park. The Center is located in
the same building as La Casa Loma River Store, at 24000 Casa Loma Road,
on the north side of Highway 120.
