With the help of volunteers, the Trust is restoring 250-acres along the Tuolumne River.

Mend the Bend - Volunteer Tree Planting Day at the Big Bend Restoration Site

Join the Tuolumne River Trust and its partners, the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service, FishAmerica Foundation and the East Stanislaus Resource Conservation District in the restoration of the Big Bend Restoration Site near Modesto.

Volunteers are needed to help plant cuttings of native cottonwoods and willows. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to tour the site and learn about river restoration.

Plant with the Trust on the following days:

Saturday, October 21
Saturday, December 2

Plantings begin at 9:30 am and generally end at 12:30 pm. Dress to work. Water and snacks will be provided.
