City of Palo Alto – Great Race for Saving Water & Earth Day Festival

The Great Race for Saving Water is back! This year, the City of Palo Alto is celebrating Earth Day with the Great Race and a fun-filled festival full of activities for all.
Join us at the Palo Alto Baylands for a 5k fun run/walk for water conservation! The Great Race for Saving Water is open to participants of all ages! Registration is $15 for adults;$10 youth under 12. T-shirts are being offered for an additional $5.
Once you’ve completed the run/walk, enjoy the family-friendly Earth Day Festival complete with a range of activities including:
- Live local musical entertainment
- A bird walk and bike tours between the Baylands and Cooley Landing
- Animals from the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo
- Smokey the Bear
- Fantastic food trucks
- Arts and crafts
- Bike expo
- Educational demonstrations
- Community Tabling
- Games, prizes, more!
