Guided Collection: Our knowledgeable restoration team will provide an overview of the river restoration project and guide you on how to properly collect cuttings from various trees. You'll learn about the importance of native species in supporting local wildlife and maintaining a healthy environment.
Serve the water that supports you : As we gather cuttings from willows and other essential riparian species along the Wild and Scenic stretches of the Tuolumne River, you’ll support the health of your local river while building community along the way!
Teamwork: Connect with friends and neighbors, who also share a passion for restoration and river repair as we continue to heal the land from the impacts of the Rim Fire.
Tools and Supplies: We'll provide all the necessary tools such as loppers and materials including collection bags, gloves, and guidance on species identification. Expect uneven footing as we’ll be working primarily on the riverbank.
