Confluence: Bay Area Screening

April 29, 2019 at 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

If you like National Parks, canyons, banjos, and/or saving endangered watersheds… this is your kind of movie night!

We are thrilled to promote the Bay Area screening of this award-winning environmental documentary, which brings us along on indie folk band The Infamous Flapjack Affair’s album-writing exploration of how people & nature interact in the Colorado River watershed.

Come meet other folk-music-loving environmentalists and immerse yourself for an hour in this thoughtful, creative, gorgeous adventure.

Doors open at 6pm, and the film will start at 6:30pm (54 minutes run time).

Afterwards, we invite you to stay for an audience discussion at 7:30pm with Ben Barron, member of the band featured in the film – the Infamous Flapjack Affair. We might even convince him to do a little solo, acoustic rendition of one of the original songs written in the film.
