Grassroots action is how it all began at TRT. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the community of advocates, like you, who continue to show up to public meetings and hearings, share their stories and needs, and fight for the ecosystems, communities, and economies of the watershed.
Community Organizing
In the Central Valley, riverside communities continue to bear the brunt of climate change and the impacts of historic disinvestment. Our goal is to improve the health and safety of the river and riverside parks for people and the environment.
Revive the Tuolumne
California water policy is complex. Through various policy proceedings happening at the state and federal level, we are working to reverse past damage by increasing the amount of water flowing down the river and into the San Francisco Bay-Delta.
Forest Health
The health of headwater forests is critical to maintaining a healthy river ecosystem. We are still building resilience back into the upper watershed post-Rim Fire, which decimated over 256,000 acres.
