Educate

Do you know where your water comes from? Thanks to our education programs, youth across the watershed learn that and much more through our region-specific environmental education programs. We’ve taught tens of thousands of students about the forests, fish, and fun they can have on and off the river. Through our education programs, we are investing in the river stewards of the future.

All Children Thrive

The Modesto team at Tuolumne River Trust is on a mission to create safe and equitable access to parks for all children. In partnership with All Children Thrive (ACT), a statewide initiative dedicated to improving child well-being, we're tackling this critical issue head on.

Trekking the Tuolumne

Trekking the Tuolumne exposes youth in the Central Valley to the natural world around them through hands-on experiential learning, field-trips in the watershed, and classroom lessons that cover key concepts, such as river ecology, wildlife conservation, how local water resources are used, and challenges facing the river.

Public Education

Beyond our classroom education programs for youth, our team educates members of the public about issues that range topically from where their water comes from, to how they can get involved in advocacy for park development, to why forest management is critical to the health of our water and the humans and animals that rely on it.
