Saturday, November 9 | Free, Family-Friendly Event
Join us for a day of celebration along the Stanislaus River as part of our Brand Launch Weekend of Festivities! The annual Salmon Festival is a vibrant, family-friendly event honoring the return of the Chinook salmon and the communities that keep our rivers thriving.
Enjoy 40+ natural resource and educational exhibits from partners like U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Cal Fire, California State Parks, and local wildlife rescues. Kids can dive into hands-on fun — from making fish-print T-shirts and adopting a (stuffed) pet to exploring the river, spotting salmon, and even meeting a live bald eagle!
Savor great local food, browse craft vendors, and take in live entertainment throughout the day. Come find our booth and make your very own Salmon Hat!
Admission is free. Parking in U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lots is $10; carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited.
Come celebrate the season, the salmon, and our new chapter as Yosemite Rivers Alliance — keeping Yosemite flowing, together.
