Trail Work Volunteer Day: Preston Falls Trail

Join us this spring for an outdoor trail maintenance volunteer day!

Preston Falls Trail is open and we are ready to get to work! For those of you who have joined us on Hamby or Indian Creek, Preston Falls is a respite from the strenuous switchbacks and change in elevation that you've grown accustomed to. We will have beautiful views of the Tuolumne decked out in spring blooms while we brush back some vegetation that is crowding the trail.

Trail maintenance not only improves recreation user experience, but is vital to preventing harmful erosion in our watersheds! If you're looking to get outside, enjoy beautiful views, and do meaningful work to improve recreation access in the Stanislaus National Forest, these days are for you! Volunteers will work with TRT staff to trim back overgrown brush on trails and repair damaged trail tread.

Whether you've done years of trail work in your life or are brand new to it, we would love to have you join us at these events! We will provide all the tools and instruction you'll need to be safe and successful.

Exact time and location details will be sent out once you register using the form below.

Note: In the event of inclement weather, the event may be rescheduled or canceled. We will provide updates via email and our website.
