Hailey grew up exploring the Sierra Nevadas, and has since devoted part of her education and career to pursuing efforts that restore and conserve the lands she loves for both herself and future generations to enjoy. She has recently graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Environmental Science and Management focusing on ecology, biodiversity, and conservation within aquatic ecosystems. Her recent research has studied chinook salmon survivorship and coral reef demographics. In her free time, Hailey enjoys hiking, reading, and SCUBA diving. As a Sierra Nevada Restoration Specialist with the Tuolumne River Trust, Hailey is excited to continue working with a new team dedicated to watershed restoration and resiliency.
