The Tuolumne River Adventure Club

The Tuolumne River Adventure Club (TRAC) program is shifting the paradigm about what it means to be an outdoor explorer and recreationist in California’s Central Valley.

“Justice” and “equity” are not buzzwords thrown around casually in our work; justice and equity are woven into the fabric of our programming to elevate the faces and stories of changemakers who will become leaders of our community.

Youth who participate in our programs are committed to building their own power and capacity through recreation and leadership development that lead to environmental stewardship within their own communities — we simply hold space for them to do so. Through intentional and innovative programming, TRAC engages youth who are changing the way we think and talk about outdoor adventures and stewardship.

Interested in joining our Tuolumne River Adventure Club?

Our Tuolumne River Adventure Club is open to all community members who are interested in recreating on or in our River Parks. We visit the Tuolumne River Regional Park, where we hike, identify plants and learn. We visit San Joaquin River National Wildlife Refuge to watch birds and host community paddling and biking events to get us recreating outside and learning new skills!

TRAC is free, open to all and meets at least once a month.
