From growing up on the east side of the Sierra Nevada, to spending the last 7 years residing on the west slopes, Weston has a deep respect and admiration for these mountains. Spending his time soaking in the peace that nature brings, through many avenues. A passion born from gardening and native plant use, to seeking knowledge of ecosystems at large, and tending to the land he lives upon. This has left him with an intimate and ever expanding knowledge base local to the Sierra. Coming from the forestry and natural resources program at Columbia College, combined with the creativity from his love of making art and music, he brings these energies to a collective vision of a new future, where taking care, and restoring the resilience of our land, is at the heart of community.
