Renée is an environmental storyteller and long-time nonprofit worker living in San Francisco, California — between the Pacific Ocean and the Bay.
Before joining the Tuolumne River Trust, she developed and produced creative events, communications, and editorial projects for Greenhorns, San Francisco Art Institute, Root Division, and Creativity Explored while also engaging in land-based work at community farms and ecological restoration sites such as Alemany Farm and Literacy for Environmental Justice. Renée is passionate about producing creative storytelling and relational gatherings that uplift ecological work and land-based connection.
Outside of her work as the Marketing and Events Coordinator, you can find her making art about place, growing native grasses and ancestral herbs, collaboratively stewarding neighborhood habitat restoration projects, and backpacking in the Cascades and Sierra Nevada.
