Theo grew up in the backcountry of Humboldt California. From an early age he was fascinated with the nature that surrounded him. He graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BS in Aerospace Engineering. After spending several years in the industry working as an aircraft design engineer he chose to explore the world of natural resources.
He spent 6 months serving with AmeriCorps in Colorado as an environmental educator before joining the Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership to serve with TRT through 2024.
Numerous backpacking, hiking, and rafting trips throughout the Sierras and the foothills has instilled a connection with the land and he is excited about the opportunity to help preserve and protect it.
In his free time Theo enjoys oil painting, being outside, and tinkering in his garage on projects.
